CCS offers art to grades K-12. For elementary students, Mrs. Chrissy Byler teaches art twice a week. Students practice drawing, painting, papier mache, and other forms of art. Student artwork is displayed in classroom and showcased at the Elementary Spring Concert.
Upper school students study art as an elective under Mrs. Karen Doane. These art classes cover drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and a variety of other artistic creations. Each spring, upper school artwork is showcased at the annual Art Show, held in conjunction with the Spring Concert. Parents, grandparents, students, and guests enjoy browsing art exhibits and the Senior Gallery.
