Since the year 2009, CCS has changed its policy of mandating Land's End as a school uniform supplier. The preferred and main supplier for all K-12 students continues to be Lands’ End for reasons of style and durability. However, beginning this year, families can purchase items from alternative clothing suppliers including, but not limited to, Hall Closet Uniform and The Children’s Wear Outlet.
Wal-Mart, J.C. Penney, Sears, and other supplies are acceptable options for all grades under the following conditions:
- Pants and skirts purchased from suppliers other than Lands’ End must be pre-approved before worn to school to assure compliance and modesty. Prior to wearing non-Lands’ End pants and skirts, K-6 students must get classroom teacher approval, and grades 7-12 students must bring the items to school and physically model the items for school administration approval. (Save your receipts in case you need to return an item.)
- Gym outfits no longer require the CCS logo. (See dress code for details)
The standard logoed CCS basic outfit will still be required from Land's End as it has always been, as well as CCS logoed sweatshirts for those who choose to wear a sweatshirt over their polos. Girls' plaid skirts for 6-12 also continue to be from Land's End only.
