Scholarships
Many Christian families in the area contribute to CCS. Some have established a scholarship The funds are deposited with In His Steps Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio as a principal investment. The interest on the initial investment, along with any future contributions and the gifts of other like-minded charitable Christians accumulate over the years and make scholarships available for dozens of students.
Perhaps you would like to designate a scholarship for a particular type of student (i.e. minority students, students from a large family, students with learning disabilities, or even a student enrolled in your congregation.) When established, it would be your scholarship to give as the Lord leads you. The only stipulation is that it would go to a student enrolled in Christian Community School. You could expect sincere gratitude from a young person appreciative of your kindness and an annual report recognizing the names of scholarship sponsors.
Scholarships are a great way to invest in young people who are forming their own world view about life.
