There are many Christian families who want the services of a Christian school because they desire godly teachers and coaches, Christ-centered curriculum, and good classmates for their kids. Most are willing to pay a lot of money in tuition to get a good education for their children. Unfortunately, sometimes it is not enough. The costs of private education are high and many parents can pay most, but not all of their tuition bill. The gap between what they can afford and what the tuition actually is, causes some families to forgo a deep desire of their hearts – an education centered on God and His ways. They cannot afford this wonderful experience for their children because of what often amounts to a shortfall of several hundred dollars.
At Christian Community School, the difference between what Christian parents pay in tuition and what it actually costs us to educate young people is, on the average, $800 per student. We have several fundraisers a year to help bridge the gap. Additional charitable giving helps us to reach our annual budgetary goals.
